About Fold
Established in 1976, the Fold Housing Association has grown to become one of the leading providers of housing and care services, delivered through an independent living model.
Nearly 4200 tenants and residents live in sheltered accommodation, family housing and specialist care schemes across Northern Ireland.
Fold’s highly trained workforce of 750 provide a range of services which allow people to live longer in their own homes or independently within a secure and supportive environment.
Fold’s innovative Telecare service provides a further peace of mind to nearly 17,000 homes across Ireland, making 100,000 morning calls and handling an annual intake of 240,000 calls.
Fold was awarded the EFQM Mark of Excellence in 2009, has Chartermark across its Care Services and is IIP accredited. Fold’s services are delivered in partnership with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, the Department for Social Development and the Health Trusts.
