Corporate Plan
As stated in the Fold’s mission statement, the organisation’s primary function is:Providing the best housing, care and support to those in need of such services.
The corporate plan has been developed to achieve this aim with the following objectives:
Transparency and openness – through providing access for Fold Stakeholders to information on how the organisation is performing and on its Plans and Policies. Through co-operation with statutory Equality bodies. - Equity and Fairness – through equality proofing all policies and practices, an open respectful management style and consultation with staff and user representatives.
- Accountability – through publishing performance reports to the Regulators, Service Users and Public Representatives. Through an accessible and responsive complaints procedure. Through user involvement in the Association’s governance.
- Value for money – through sound financial and general management. Through ongoing audit of all services measuring outcomes against targets.
- Commitment to quality – through canvassing user opinion on whether Fold services actually meet their needs. Through empowerment and development of all Fold staff aimed at improving the quality of service delivery.
- Dignity & Respect – through workforce training and through regular staff appraisal. Through consultation with tenants, residents and clients and their respective organisations. Through advocating for vulnerable service users.
- Accessibility – through provision of a network of quick and responsive access points to Fold services. Through Fold buildings which are designed or adapted to facilitate easy access for those with disabilities.
- Professionalism – through ongoing training and staff development and through comprehensive organisation-wide installation of quality assurance systems and practices.
