‘Celebrating Customer Service’ was the theme for Fold’s Staff Conference this year. In tough economic times, good customer service is crucial, we had over 200 of Fold’s staff in attendance.
The keynote speaker David Bryon, previously the Managing Director of BMI Baby delivered an emotive presentation on how managing customer expectations is crucial in meeting their needs in a manner they expect. David drew parallels with the airline industry and demonstrated how simple solutions can work most effectively.
John McLean, Chief Executive of Fold commented during his address, ‘We have every right to be proud of Fold’s achievements over the years. Our staff have built a reputation based on
exceptionally strong core values. But what of the future. I believe it was Sir Terry Leahy, Chief Executive of Tesco’s who said of Tesco “Follow the customer, if they change… we change.”
exceptionally strong core values. But what of the future. I believe it was Sir Terry Leahy, Chief Executive of Tesco’s who said of Tesco “Follow the customer, if they change… we change.”This set the agenda for various breakout sessions enabling staff to discuss how Fold could better address the needs and expectations of our clients.
The conference was a great success and has provided delegates with the tools to deliver excellent customer service. Ideas and suggestions from this event will help shape our Business Objectives in the coming year.
