Fold Welcomes 5000th Tenant

Fold welcomed Mr & Mrs Corbett into their new home as Fold’s 5,000th tenant. Thirty five years of developing social housing has lead Fold to this landmark achievement within the North Belfast development of Torrens. This development comprises of 177 new homes. The completion of Torrens confirms that over 40% of Fold homes have now been developed for general needs tenants.

Mr McLean said, “Torrens represents the progress in social housing development in Northern Ireland over the years. These modern, safe and energy efficient houses occupy a site that previously divided two communities.

Fold continues to develop quality social housing throughout Northern Ireland, this year we will complete over 300 new general needs houses.”
