Senior Alert Scheme

Fold TeleCare have been working with community & voluntary organisations throughout Ireland over the last 12 years providing 24 hour peace of mind & security to older people in their homes.

Community & voluntary organisations who register with the Department of Community, Rural & Gaeltacht Affairs can apply for grant assistance under the Seniors Alert Scheme. This scheme provides funding for the supply & installation of security equipment, for vulnerable older people without sufficient means living in their communities. Some of the security equipment covered under this scheme includes the socially monitored alarm and the monitored smoke detector.
