Adapting Your Home through a NIHE Disabled Facilities Grant
For those with a disability or mobility issue, disabled home adaptations offer a suitable solution enabling them to remain in their home, whether it be owner occupied or privately rented, simply by adapting the living environment to help it meet their needs.
Disability can affect an occupants use and enjoyment of their home, from not managing the stairs, to being unable to independently go outside or use the bath.
